Content-wise, I agree that this is an interesting story, but am puzzled as to why people insist on calling this ‘gender inequality’, considering how most of the grooms are just as young.
Photography-wise I am unimpressed. The images are messy and incoherent, save for their shared topic.
Though I might just be nitpicking.
Documentary about (historical) photomanipulation, either after the fact or by use of doubles or cutouts in the photograph. The practical sides (taking out people who have fallen out of grace) is interesting, but the artistic side (inviting people to believe that what they see is real, rather than forcing it upon them) even more so.
